09/24-25 - Retro Gaming Convention

I went to this with the boys and it was a ton of fun.    There was a huge free gaming area and I got to play some classic video games I played as a kid.    Which I got to introduce to the boys,  The boys totally love dig-dug.   

This year's theme is Sega Genesis. Anyone familiar with that classic, early-90's game console will recognize the iconic package design from the Genesis clamshell game case in the flyer.

The stylized "Portland Retro Gaming Expo" at the top of the flyer is based on the logo for the side-scrolling shooter Gunstar Heroes released in 1993 for the Sega Genesis and Megadrive platform.

Look for flyers at retailers across the greater Portland metro area including Gamer's Edge, Ground Kontrol, Video Game Wizards, Billy Galaxy Vintage Toys, CD Game Exchange, Game Trader, Things From Another World and many more.
